latest post: starting fresh

this is where everything will go! i have LOADS of ideas for my 3000GT, but it is in a massive state of dissasembly. the headers are 20 feet away from the block and my exhaust is on the roof of the car. the plan is to keep this one looking nice, and buy another that will recieve the sawzall and blowtorch. the 6G72 (3000GTs engine model) is beyond complicated and rebuilds will ALWAYS suck, no matter your experience level. Keep the main one nice and pretty, buy a second one and put a simpler engine in it. something i could lift out of the engine bay overnight. i LOVE the look of the 3000GT, but despise it's internal workings. not optimal for backstreet racing.

once i get my main together, i would really like to stick a conversational LLM AI into it and add some screens into the headliner. something like K.I.T.T from Night Rider. being able to ask the car "What's your engine temperature at?" and "What does your service manual say about X?". foaming at the mouth at the thought. maybe download most of 3SI to it? its own manuals? a sentient car is a cool car!
